Lisa loves...Olympic hair
The Olympics may be a stunning showcase of sporting peak performance but there is one totally unexpected element that I am simply loving and that’s Olympic style! How DO these women manage to channel a look while breaking records and achieving personal bests? Here are my Olympic Style LOVES and they are all clear winners...
The Lisa Shepherd Gold Medal for style goes to British track cyclist...Laura Trott. These cutesy pigtail plaits feel so very British to me, and twinned with a winning smile, Laura proves that a grown woman AND a serious competitor can carry off cute with aplomb.
The Lisa Shepherd Silver Medal for style goes to Polish gymnast...Marta Pihan Kulesza. Red, white and blue bling! What’s not to love? Marta has taken time out from her punishing schedule to create glitter encrusted corn rows – now that’s dedication.
The Lisa Shepherd Bronze Medal for style goes to American athlete...Sanya Richards Ross. The Chanel earrings with this crowning plait has echoes of ancient Greece and puts Sanya in a class of her own. I love the soft tumbling waves of her relaxed lengths too.
